Inglis blends light romance and urban fantasy with a touch of science-fiction. This action-packed work lacks thorough development of the fantasy world and an emotional connection to Lily. The plot is somewhat clunky and murky, and the characters don't feel fully formed. Still, the action and twists are enough to keep some readers engaged. Lily suddenly meets a boy named Regan, while she is getting attacked by banddogges (two-headed dogs). She realizes she is in a world with not only humans, but a lot more!This book was fast-paced and a fun read.

It was an enjoyable read. It got a bit annoying with how long they drug out finding out about a mysterious prophecy, but over all it was a good book.

Humor, real life, and fantasy were wrapped PERFECTLY together! I LOVED this book!
