Loved this book. A little predictable but I didn't mind. It was a good story with a little adventure and good characters! Now to find a fury sasquatch of my own like Barney!

I loved getting to know some of the other characters from Bite Me better! A great love story, with a fun twist on the vampire/sasquatch theme!!

So glad I kept going with this series, and can't wait to read the next one! Good for a fun, teen vampire romance.

This is the second book in this teen/ya series and I can honestly say it works well as a standalone as I enjoyed it even though I haven't read the first book yet! After a vampire attack at a High School Prom, Chase Wheeler discovered that Esma, his girlfriend, is actually a vampire, though one who doesn't drink human blood. It isn't the fact that she's a vampire that causes him to "dump" her but the fact that for the two years they've been together she never told him. Now they're both trying to get on with their lives apart. She's going on a camping trip with a couple of girl friends whilst he's enjoying his internship on a radio show . . . . little do they anticipate the girls will need his help when they encounter a hunter, his prey (a sasquatch) and danger as they try to rescue him! This is a paranormal high school adventure and romance with great characters, difficult parent/child relationships, and so much more. The sasquatch is a very different and engaging character in his own right - I'd never read a story with one as a key character before! So get ready for humans, vampires, slayers and more in this engaging adventure! I'm definitely tempted to read the first and third book in this series after finishing this one . . . I know, typical for me to read the second book first! I requested and was gifted a copy of this book without obligation and this is my honest review after choosing to read it.

In this comical three-book series, Cypress explores the depth of friendship, intimacy…and the undead. If you were forced to tell the one person who truly cared about you that you were a vampire, could you do it? You would be chancing that person would still want to be with you even though you lied to them for your entire relationship—and the obvious, you know—that you’re dead. And…you would have to think about them telling others your secret. Cypress has some of the classic lore intertwined with some original scenes in the mix, making the second installment in this series one that will be hard for readers to put down.Esma is a Puritan, which means that she does not feed on human blood. In actuality, she has never had the desire for human blood...since becoming a vampire. Now with the purity test behind her and her vampire stepsister in tow, she must learn how to live with the ramifications of prom night. Her boyfriend—or rather ex-boyfriend now—can’t even look at her after that horrible night of blood, gore, and death. What was supposed to be one of the best nights of her teenage life will forever haunt her thanks to mommy dearest. Cassandra Xander decides to take it upon herself to give the girls a break before college and plan a road trip for them all. Thinking that this would be a fun way to relax and get some much needed girl time, the trip takes a couple of sharp turns and they wind up with a Sasquatch. Yes…a Sasquatch. With Sasquatch being friendly and all, they have an easy enough time rescuing him from a hunter in the woods, but that was an amateur. Sasquatch are usually always pets of other vampires. Esma may be forced to ask the only person—besides the parents—who knows who she is for help, but Chase might not want anything to do with her and then they would be left stranded in an unknown forest with some creepy vampire owners on their trail. What will they do when they are faced with hunters who are not only faster, but stronger and angry because someone stole their Sasquatch?Cypress has a terrific story-line, filled with creativity, originality and fascinating characters. The pace is very quick, but easy to follow and enjoyable. The story appears to be written fairly well and both narrators, Cendese and Buhr, are able to captivate their audience with their vocal differentiation and tone. This installment does not spare the drama that goes on in a teenager’s life, but it is meant to be satirical and geared toward a young adult audience. With that being mentioned, there are some scenes that appear childish but the intention is that it is from a teenager’s point of view. If you are a reader of young adult and paranormal romance, this may be a good fit. This is the second installment in the Puritan Coven Series; therefore, it is recommended for the reader to start from the beginning. While the second book focuses on a different main character, it is still a direct continuance from the previous story-line.An audiobook was provided to Turning Another Page by Audiobookworm Promotions and in no way affects the honesty of this review. We provide a five-star rating to Hunt Me by Louise Cypress.

Hunt Me is the second book in the Puritan Coven series. This one focuses on Esma and Chase. It picks up a couple of months after the events of the first book Bite Me. It's a few weeks before college starts and Esma and Morgan head off on a girls only camping trip. Of course things don't go as smoothly as planned. I would highly recommend reading the first book before this one to get a better understanding of the way the vampire world works in this series. I really enjoyed this second one. It still had all of the humor and campiness that I loved in the first book. It was fun to see Esma's perspective this time around. We also get a glimpse of a paranormal world other than just the vampires. My only wish was that we got more of Chase and Esma together. I thought Chase was a bit harsh on Esma for the secret that she kept from him. It was a bit frustrating. But, I was rooting for them.THis is a really fun and clean series that I highly recommend, This audio version is narrated by the same narrators in Bite Me. I really love their voices. I am looking forward to reading the last book, Slay Me.*I received a copy of this audiobook from the publisher.
