The book is very well organized with lots of information for each area of the GRE. The book shines when it comes to the review, practice questions, and explanations of the verbal reasoning section of the GRE. Some of the sub categories were : Literal and Figurative Language, Structure of a Text, and Analyzing Word Parts. They gave really nice examples that were very easy to read. In the other section, they discussed Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, and Data Analysis in a very detailed way. I really liked the book, but I wish that there were more practice questions for the Quantitative Reasoning section. They have 20 practice questions in that book. But I have heard that the GRE verbal is harder than the SAT reading, and that the GRE math is easier than the SAT math.The Analytical Writing section was filled with lots of info and lots of helpful sentence examples.
What I liked most about the APEX GRE Complete Test Prep Study Book 2019/2020 is how it teaches you how to solve problems and logically find the answer to questions. So it’s not mainly about memorizing, it’s about learning how to answer whatever questions may come up on the test. Besides giving basic test-taking strategies, the book is divided up into sections on verbal reasoning, quantitive reasoning and analytical writing. There are practice questions along with the answers, but then the book explains why the answers are correct and how to find the answer. I especially thought the chapter on Analytical Writing was valuable because the knowledge gained can help when writing papers for all kinds of classes. Since entry into graduate school is very competitive, this book is a great value to help you succeed.
This is a great test prep book that has a free DVD offer for extra help. Inside there are great testing sections with detailed answer explanations. The sections consist of verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, and analytical writing. I highly recommend this book.
This is a very helpful and educational prep book! There are many different sections that include: verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning and analytical wiriting. Within those sections there are explinations, questions and then answers. I would recommend!
I like this book’s practice’s answer. The concept is clearly reviewed and highlighted. However I wish the book could have more practice questions. With all that said, I still think this could be a good reference book for GRE review.

I am in school studying accounting and to get into a masters program I need to take the GRE. This guide was recommended as a good start in my preparations. Overall, I feel like it is giving me a good idea of how to prepare for it.
